The experience was great from the start. I phoned off of google and spoke to a lady that does appointments. She was great in explaining. She set up the appointment and I also got a text, which I like. Coby Boyd, the experienced technician called to say he was on his way and also texted. He came and put in the garage door opener and it was a fantastic experience. He knew what he was doing and explained to my 81 year old mom what he was doing every step of the way. My new residence needed the garage door openers serviced. I found several companies listed under "garage door repair". Precision was able to get to me the same day which I needed. The technician, Coby, called to say he could be earlier than planned which worked for me. He was very professional and explained what he would do as well as estimates for other options if I wanted them. The work was performed satisfactorily and all issues corrected. The new item was installed, tested and explained to my expectations. My only negative is the 3% service charge if I had used a credit card for payment. Fortunately they will take cash or checks. It should have been stated upfront when I scheduled service.

My wife and I were stuck at home this morning when we went to open our garage door and it would not open due to a broken spring. When I called Precision Garage Door, they were able to get a technician out to my home within two hours. The technician sent me a text when he was on his way. When Trevor Ramirez arrived, he looked at the job and gave me the estimate. I approved it and he replaced both springs. He was very professional and efficient, getting the job done in a timely manner. We were pleased to get this handled in this manner.

We ordered our new garage door in November 2024. It didn’t arrive for almost 2 months, then finally installed. Noticed after they left a panel didn’t match. So they had to come out and take pictures, then reorder a panel. Two more months, the panel arrives, but they didn’t tell me, I had to call to get an update! A week later, it gets installed only to find out, the wrong color! So have to order a whole new door, which will be ‘3 weeks’! Beyond frustrating as a new door ordered November 2024 will HOPEFULLY get installed right by June 2025! Come on now….do better!!!!!

We realized that our garage door wouldn't open Thursday evening and discovered that one of the springs had broken. We were concerned that we would have to go through the weekend with it not working and try to get it repaired the next week which was already tightly scheduled. I called Doug about 800 Friday morning and he answered and was able to schedule a technician to check out the problem at noon the same day. Coby had a cancelation so actually arrived early and evaluated the situation. He confirmed the broken spring and gave me several options for the repair and explained the advantages of each. About 30 minutes after informed him which repair option i chose, Coby had the repair completed. Then he walked me through the recommended maintenance for the components and presented me the invoice. He was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I felt that the repair option is chose was reasonably priced and it also included a 5-year warranty. I am very pleased with the prompt response and courteous service and would recommend Precision Garage Door to anyone.
